DELIVERIES

Mastergen will deliver to all mainland UK Farms.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Mastergen have a transparent pricing policy and therefore do not artificially inflate the straw prices to accommodate delivery fees.

• Free delivery on all orders of 40 Dairy or 60 Beef, or a combination of straws.

• Orders less than the minimum specified will incur a £40 charge.

• Orders of less than 10 Dairy or 15 Beef will also incur a packing fee of £15 per order.

• Next day deliveries must be processed by 11am but will incur an additional £25 charge.

• Genus & other AI centres will charge Mastergen a handling fee for each straw transferred from our tank to theirs. The fees vary, with Genus charging the most at £3 per straw. Mastergen will re-charge the same fee per straw.

 

To avoid unnecessary handling fees, please speak to your breeding advisor about farm flasks.

Your inseminator will still AI your cows but will take semen from your own farm flask instead of theirs.

Having your own flask on farm will save you money and you will have the flexibility to buy semen to suit your herd and budget from whichever company you choose to deal with.

 

REGIONS

 

South West

(Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset)

Semen will be collected from stores every Wednesday and delivered on farm within one week.

The delivery driver will transfer the semen straight in to your flask.

 

South & Mid Wales, South of Birmingham, South East

Semen will be collected from stores every Friday and delivered on farm within one week.

The delivery driver will transfer the semen straight in to your flask.

 

North Wales, North of Birmingham, North East, Scottish Borders

Semen will be collected from stores every Friday and delivered on farm within one week.

The delivery driver will transfer the semen straight in to your flask.

 

West Wales and East UK

Semen will be delivered by UK Mail courier service in a dry shipper.

Semen cannot be transferred by the delivery driver therefore it is necessary that you transfer the straws yourself.

If you are not present at the time of delivery the tank will be left on farm for 24 hours.

We endeavour to process and deliver orders by courier within 2 weeks.

 

Scotland

Semen will be collected from stores weekly and usually delivered on farm within two weeks.

The delivery driver will transfer the semen straight in to your flask.
